Texoma is a massive, two-river reservoir where the Red River arm brings slight salinity (enabling wild striper reproduction) and the Washita arm brings clear deep waters. For weekend sandbar raft-ups, Wood Island and North Island are the places to be. If the level drops below 614 ft, watch for submerged timber in the upper Big Mineral arm.
